Gather six safe household objects in two or three colors. Pretend Happy Pebble needs help preparing for the Rainbow. Take turns matching objects by color, shape, texture, or purpose. Ask your child to explain one match in their own words. Finish by inventing a new sorting rule together. Adult supervision is recommended.
